Few Oaks Cabinetry traces its roots back to the wooded hills of Burns, Tennessee, where a young Robert Poole spent his days surrounded by trees and the warmth of his Grandmother’s home—affectionately known within the family as Few Oaks. There, he first developed a reverence for wood, seeing beauty in every grain and potential in every piece.

That early love of craftsmanship grew into a lifelong calling. In time, Robert opened Few Oaks Custom Woodworks—a small shop that quickly earned a reputation for handcrafted cabinetry, signature tables, and bespoke furniture. Each piece was built with care, character, and an uncompromising attention to detail. His commitment to honest craftsmanship and thoughtful design gained the trust of homeowners and contractors throughout Middle Tennessee.

Today, Few Oaks has evolved into a full-service cabinetry brand that carries forward Robert’s original vision: to create beautiful, enduring pieces that feel as good to live with as they do to look at. Offering cabinetry solutions that marry artisanal quality with contemporary needs, every cabinet reflects the same blend of passion, precision, and pride that started it all.

The story took its next step forward when Robert partnered with designer Shery Merkle, whose refined design sensibility and keen eye for space expanded the brand’s reach into full-home interiors. Together, they launched Few Oaks Studio—where craftsmanship meets design. In addition to cabinetry, the studio offers interior design services, renderings, custom furniture, and curated accessories that bring entire spaces to life.
